Work with Chesham Town Council and Buckinghamshire Chess Valley Councillors to campaign for more traffic calming measures, the reduction of the speed limit to 20 mph, and to stop HGV's from entering Old Town.
Work with Chesham Town Council and Bucks Chess Valley Councillors to increase investment in St Mary's; especially when it comes to flood management, gully cleaning and recreational facilities in Lowndes park.
Advocate and work with Chesham Town Council, Chess Valley Buckinghamshire Councillors and town partners to increase investment and promotion of the High Street and to get 1 hour free parking.
Work with the Police, Town Council, Chess Valley Councillors and town partners to improve our strategy and increase investment to dissuade anti-social behaviour in Water Meadow Car Park and St Mary's Ward.
Preserving the historical character of Old Town and improving the safety and quality of life in this area is a major priority. Traffic, speeding, HGVs and coaches are all rocking the very foundations of the buildings, increasing pollution, and putting lives and livelihoods at risk.
Following conversations with residents from across Old Town, whose everyday lives are directly impacted, we (Cllr Wilford Augustus, Cllr Gareth Williams, Cllr Joseph Baum, and Cllr Emily Culverhouse) who represent St Mary's Ward, will be making representations to the Cabinet Member for Transport at Buckinghamshire Council, to help provide traffic calming measures in Old Chesham.
If you are a St Mary's resident please sign up to show your support.
The junction of Missenden Road, Church Street, Pednormead End and Wey Lane will unfortunately be closed as works on the culvert are being undertaken by Buckinghamshire Council, between 27th June to 16th September 2022.
Following conversations with residents on the Chessbury Estate, who will be directly impacted by the works, we (Cllr Wilford Augustus, Cllr Gareth Williams, Cllr Joseph Baum, and Cllr Emily Culverhouse) who represent St Mary's Ward, will be making representations to the Cabinet Member for Transport at Buckinghamshire Council, to help provide mitigating support to residents during the above stated works.
If you are a St Mary's resident please sign up to show your support.
