With 40% of Londoners born outside the UK, 45% from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds, and 60% not identifying as White British, London is the most diverse and dynamic city on earth.
London sits at the heart of British power. It's a city of prestige, history, and global ambition, shaped by the talent and hard work of people from every corner of the globe.
But London also faces serious challenges, including housing, transport, crime, economic inequality, and the urgent need for smarter governance that delivers better results for our communities.
My name is Wilford Augustus, and I am a small business and civic leader with international experience from across the UK, Europe, and the Americas, standing to be the next Mayor of London in 2028.
I am standing because our city needs a leader with a global strategic vision – one who will build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous London. A London that works better for us all and for the world.

A More Prosperous London
Supporting business, reducing bureaucracy, and making London the best place in the world for startups, scaleups and global multinationals alike.
A Safer London
Tackling crime with a firm yet fair approach, providing stronger support for youth initiatives that prevent crime before it starts, taking uncompromising action on gangs, and bringing back community policing.
A More Affordable London
Addressing the housing crisis by collaborating with the private sector and local councils to build more homes, faster, while ensuring Londoners have real pathways to homeownership.
A Better Transport for London (TfL)
Investing in infrastructure, AI, and technology to make TfL more reliable, ensuring Londoners receive the service they deserve, without the constant threat of fare hikes, strikes, and cancellations.
A More Integrated London
Championing social mobility, strengthening social cohesion, and making London a place where everyone – regardless of background – feels and knows they belong, with the opportunity to succeed by integrating into mainstream British life.
